It was a bright and sunny morning about 6am. I had prepared a long list of things to accomplish on that day, when on my way out the door, I heard an interview conducted on Oprah Winfrey. Oprah said something so profound in that interview, I just had to put it in song. Oprah said, "I am blessed to be living this miracle we call life" So I sat down at my piano and began working on this song. I figured I would work on it a little, go handle my day and return to it later that evening. However, by 11 o'clock, I had finished the song. But...it was not 11 o'clock AM. It was 11 o'clock PM.
I had spent the entire day working on this song and did not accomplish one thing on my list. I didn't even bother to go to the bathroom or get anything to eat. Completely immersed in my passion, to the exclusion of everything else, I was intently focused on finishing this song, I call . . . "LIFE"
